How promotional-stake returns work
Stake not returned
The promotional stake is excluded from the payout. A 10 bonus/free bet at 5/1 therefore returns 50 rather than 60 if it wins.
Compared with a cash bet
A normal cash bet generally returns both winnings and stake. A stake-not-returned promotional bet returns only the winnings generated by the odds.
Stake-returned promotions
Some promotions include the promotional stake in the return. Select the treatment stated in the promotion's actual terms.
