Understanding each-way place odds
Two separate parts
An each-way bet has one Win stake and one Place stake, so the total stake is twice the stake per part.
Profit odds are reduced
The supplied place fraction applies to fractional profit odds, not to the full Decimal price.
A successful place returns stake
The Place-part return adds the Place stake to the profit calculated from the reduced odds.
Places paid vary
Bookmaker and event rules determine how many places are paid. This tool calculates only the Place price from the terms supplied.
